It's no secret that I love listening to K-pop music. I think it's fun despite the language barriers and let's face it, K-pop has become a huge universal trend among the masses. I'd probably go as far to say that K-Con is just as big if not bigger than Comic-Con. In fact, I don't personally know anyone that has never heard a K-pop song before, even if they are not into K-pop themselves. However, if you are one of the few that haven't been exposed to the greatness that is K-pop then you should definitely check out my post on K-pop groups to get start watching.
Anyway this post isn't really about K-pop groups, but rather some of the amazing solo artists that you should look out for. It's already hard enough to command a crowd and receive attention as a group, but some soloist have managed to do so while putting smiles on people's faces. Honestly, I just thought it would be nice to share some interesting artists outside of the typical K-Pop groups.
K.Will
John Park
Erick Nam
IU
Crush
Zion T.
There are many more Korean artists out there that you should check out, but I have simply listed some of my personal favorites, because they have their own flavor. The way they perform draws me to them personally. If you're also a fan of Korean music or you're just interested in learning more feel free to leave a comment below.
Until next time...
Here's a bonus video that went viral a while ago. This is actually from a show called I can see your voice.
I wasn’t very familiar with Korean singers but thanks to this post and the videos I now have some new favorites. Thanks for sharing!
